Features
Everything a booking needs, and nothing it doesn't.
A public booking page for customers, and the screens behind it for you: locations, services, hours, holidays, staff and the appointments themselves.
For customers
The booking page
What your customers see when they follow your link: pick a service, a day and a time, leave their details, and they are booked.
A link for every location
Each published location has its own booking page. A second link covers the whole organization and asks the customer to choose a location first.
Only times you can take
Days without business hours and your holidays are greyed out, times already in the past are skipped, and a time disappears once it is full.
Your brand on the page
Your organization's name and logo head the page, with the name of the location being booked.
Short to fill in
An email address is all a customer must give. Name, phone number and address are optional.
A map of the location
Once you have placed a location on the map, its booking page shows it, so customers know where they are going.
Staff-only services stay private
Mark a service as hidden from customers and it is left off the booking page, while your staff can still book it.
Phone, computer or keyboard
The page works on phones and computers, and a customer can book with the keyboard alone: our tests do exactly that.
Confirmations
After the booking
Every booking ends with a confirmation the customer can keep, and a way to cancel that doesn't need a phone call.
Confirmation email
Sent the moment the booking is made. Replies go to the location's email address, if you have given one.
Calendar file
The appointment comes as an .ics file, attached to the email and downloadable from the confirmation page, for Outlook, Google Calendar and Apple Calendar.
Cancel from the link
The confirmation page has a cancel button. The customer can give a reason, and gets an email with the cancelled calendar entry.
Changes reach the customer
When you move an appointment or change its service, the customer is emailed the new details and a new calendar file.
Scheduling rules
Hours, holidays and capacity
Tell it how your week works once. The booking page follows it from then on.
Business hours
Opening hours for each day of the week, for a location, or for a single service that keeps different hours.
Holidays that repeat
Close for a day or on a repeating pattern, such as every Sunday, for a location or for a single service.
Service lengths and buffers
Each service has a length, with time before and after it for getting ready and tidying up.
Capacity
Limit how many appointments a location takes at once, and how many a service takes at once.
Day to day
Managing appointments
The appointments screen is where the day happens: a calendar and a list of the same bookings.
Calendar and list
Appointments on a calendar, color-coded by service, and in a table you can filter, with cancelled ones shown or hidden.
Edit in place
Change the service, the time, or the customer's details, and mark a no-show.
Cancel a day
Closing unexpectedly? Cancel every appointment on a day at once, with a reason, and each customer is emailed.
Book on a customer's behalf
Take a booking over the phone or at the desk, including outside the limits the public page keeps to.
Export
Download the appointment list as a CSV file for a spreadsheet or your records.
Your team
Locations, staff and sign-in
One organization, as many locations as you run, and the right people in each.
Multiple locations
Each location has its own address, time zone, contact details, hours, services and booking page, and stays private until you publish it. A map on the location screen shows where it is.
Staff access
Add staff by email address, to one location or the whole organization. They sign in with that address and see what they have access to, and nothing else.
Sign in with Microsoft, Google or Apple
Work, school or personal Microsoft accounts, Google accounts and Apple IDs all work. We never see or store a password.
Reliability
Built to stay up
Your booking page is often the first thing a customer sees. It should load every time.
Nightly backups
The database is backed up every night, verified, and an encrypted copy is kept off-site.
Monitored
Errors and slow pages are reported to our own monitoring, with what we need to find and fix the cause.
See it with your own services
Setting up a location and a service takes a few minutes, and nothing is public until you publish.
